Parade PENGUINS and PIXIES Introduction to Synchronized Skating

Coached by Gailene Norwood and assisted by Raleigh Weld. Designed for skaters who have already passed Alpha, Beta, Gamma and perhaps Delta.   This year to accommodate the growing interest in introduction to Synchro skating,  we are splitting the  classes  into two groups based on skating levels: Penguins will normally skate at 4:30 pm each Tuesday while the Pixies will normally skate at 5:00pm each Tuesday.

All interested skaters should be ready to skate at 4:30pm on Tuesday October 6, 2009.  Coaches will evaluate skaters and assign them to the Penguins team (beginning synchro skaters) and to the Pixies team (a bit more advanced skaters). After that classes will be held on subsequent Tuesdays at 4:30 pm (Penguins) and 5:00 pm (Pixies).

There are no classes on Nov 24, 2009 (Thanksgiving week). The Winter season will start on Jan 5 and end on March 9, 2010 (no classes on 3/2/2010).  Classes are held in the Studio Rink at Parade Ice Garden.

The teams are expected to perform at the Snow Daze exhibition on Saturday Jan 16, 2010 at 12:00 noon and at the  annual Parade Ice Show on April 30 and May 1, 2010.
